Bart Hawkins has worked on many film projects around the world,including India and had several private talks with the Dalai Lama. His career, spanning 20 years, includes Directing, Producing, 16mm, 35mm and HD Cinematography, and Editing. His talents has allowed him to exceed expectations in news production and promotions at ESP in Atlanta, Georgia and his clients include CNN, Turner, Coca-Cola, HGTV, The Weather Channel, Synergy Films, Bellsouth, and Hard Head Productions.He was Production Manager for an ABC news affiliate and has written several screenplays. Bart's latest project is a western feature that he Co-Directed and DP with a London based Film Production company and will be released summer 2011.
He also was Director of Field Operations for a leading-edge scientific research company called
the Genesis Affect Project that was jointly operated with the Santa Fe
Institute and the PEAR group at Princeton University.Bart is involved in the production and launch of CITN, (Convergence Internet Television Network) the world’s first global interactive TV network based in Atlanta.
Bart’s personal pursuits
have included fabricating metal sculptures, custom home building, eco-designed communities, volunteering, scuba diving, racing
formula ford cars, martial artist, shamanic training, JROTC training and leadership, and kayaking expeditions.He is an avid hiker and nature enthusiast. Bart currently lives in San Francisco.
